The sale of the house in Bristol completes tomorrow which, after the ridiculously protracted Conveyancing process, is very welcome news indeed!
When I put the house on the market way back in July last year, it contradicted all my basic instincts and principles. It was my very first house (and only house considering my subsequent property investment was the small flat in which I’m now living!) and, well, you know how it goes; if walls could speak… fond memories… blah blah! Put it into perspective though – Ignore all that soppy whimsical reflection and consider the collapsing housing market and the opportunities realized by releasing the capital. My future, the W2N project and beyond will, to put it bluntly, get a rocket up its arse tomorrow is officially, I start seriously looking for the boat that will imminently become my home and my life for the foreseeable (if unpredictable) future.
